Welcome to Redmond

Downtown Redmond is just 22 minutes from Downtown Seattle, 13 minutes from Downtown Bellevue and Downtown Kirkland, and about 10 minutes from Downtown Woodinville, making it one of the most centrally located cities on the Eastside. Bella's Windermere office is right in Downtown Redmond at Redmond Town Center, so this is a city she knows as well as anyone.

Most people think of Redmond as Microsoft country, and they're right, but what doesn't immediately come to mind is the genuinely charming downtown area. Tree-lined streets, local boutiques, cozy bookstores, public art, and the Redmond Downtown Park make this one of the most walkable and livable city centers on the Eastside. Victor's Celtic Coffee is a particular favorite, a great spot to get work done or catch up with clients.

Tech, Jobs & Economy

Redmond is home to Microsoft and Nintendo of America, along with a thriving ecosystem of startups and tech companies. The Redmond Ridge area also hosts SpaceX and Starlink facilities. This concentration of tech employment means strong demand for housing, high household incomes, and a well-educated population that creates a particular kind of community energy.

Redmond Town Center, right across from the downtown hub and home to Bella's office, has shopping, dining, and businesses covering nearly anything you need. Exotics @ RTC, returning each spring, is the largest weekly gathering of exotic and rare cars in the US, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, vintage race cars worth tens of millions, and it's completely free. A remarkable Saturday morning experience.

Parks & Outdoor Life

Marymoor Park, just 5 minutes from downtown, is one of the Eastside's crown jewels, trails, outdoor activities, a dog park, and a major concert and events venue year-round. Idylwood Park on Lake Sammamish is 7 minutes from downtown and the perfect lake day spot in summer. And the Redmond Saturday Market, running May through October, is one of the largest farmers markets in the region, a perfect weekend outing.

The Sammamish River Trail runs right through Redmond and connects to the massive regional trail network including the Burke-Gilman Trail. This is why Redmond carries the nickname Bicycle Capital of the Northwest, the trail infrastructure here is genuinely exceptional for both casual rides and serious training.
