Her Story

Integrity First.
Every Transaction.

Bella Chaffey Lakic is a dedicated real estate professional working out of Windermere Real Estate/East Inc., with over seven years of experience known for her integrity, expertise, and client-focused service.

As a member of the National Association of Realtors and vice chair of the Seattle-King County Realtor's YPN, she stays connected to real estate professionals and is at the forefront of industry trends to provide top-tier guidance. In 2025, Bella was named to the NAR 30 Under 30 Class of 2025, a national recognition that highlights the top 30 real estate professionals under 30 from across the entire country.

Whether assisting first-time buyers, navigating new construction, or facilitating resales, Bella ensures a seamless experience. Her commitment to excellence is unwavering, no matter the price point.

"Buying or selling a home should feel exciting, not overwhelming. That's the experience I deliver every time."

For locals, the Chaffey name is synonymous with home building. Bella's grandfather, Herb Chaffey, founded Chaffey Homes, which built thousands of homes across the Puget Sound region and beyond. Her father and uncle went on to run the company and were known for their exceptional build quality. Today, her family runs Chaffey Custom Construction, a boutique luxury home builder serving Bellevue.

Beyond her real estate career, Bella is the Founder and Executive Director of Alexander's Hope, a nonprofit that partners with The Nick of Time Foundation to provide free heart screenings for youth at local high schools. Through Alexander's Hope, Bella also puts on an annual 5K called the Valentine's Day Dash, hosted in downtown Bellevue Park. The event had over 400 participants in 2026.

Bella is also a board member for the Seattle-based nonprofit Forgotten Children's Fund. During the holiday season, Bella is the lead screener for families all across King County to receive Christmas gifts, financial aid, and more.

Born and raised in Bellevue, Bella has deep ties to the Eastside. She and her husband Nikola live on their three-acre hobby farm in the Clearview neighborhood of Snohomish with their two young daughters, Mila and Lily, and a variety of animals including five rescue dogs.

When she's not assisting clients, Bella stays busy training for triathlons and long-distance races, boating, fishing, hiking, crabbing, and rescuing and fostering dogs. In 2024, Bella was an executive producer of the documentary 'Unega | Tales of the Guardians', which followed the story of Unega Mountain Dog Rescue in Idaho. The documentary went on to screen at numerous film festivals including the Sun Valley Film Festival, the Newport Beach Film Festival, and the Seattle Film Festival.
